Altera Corporate Finance is a relationship driven, independent investment banking and advisory firm based in Zagreb, and focused primarily on serving the needs of clients active in South East Europe. We provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, valuation, and capital structure to companies, institutions and governments.

Marko Delić

Marko Delić is a senior Investment Banker with over 18 years of experience, all spent focusing on the CEE region, and encompassing the whole range of advisory, debt and equity financing transactions. Over the past 10 years, Marko originated and executed advisory, ECM and DCM transactions valued at €17bn.

Prior to founding Altera Corporate Finance, Marko was a Director in the Central Europe, Israel & Turkey Global Banking team of Deutsche Bank. During his time at Deutsche, Marko helped the bank grow into the premier investment bank in CEE, topping regional ECM and DCM league tables in 2008-2010, and achieving a top 3 position in M&A. Marko moved to Deutsche from J.P. Morgan, where he spent 10 years building and managing the firm’s franchise in CEE, and where he won and executed a number of milestone transactions, including the landmark $1.4bn Croatian Telecom IPO, the €639mm Gedeon Richter exchangeable, the first equity-linked transaction of this type ever to be closed in the region, and the $2.1bn sale of MOL’s mid and down-stream gas assets.

Marko holds a BA in Business Economics at Leicester University and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City University Business School in London

Branimir Bricelj

Branimir Bricelj has 15 years of Private Equity, Investment Banking and Senior Corporate Executive experience across CEE, Western Europe and the USA. He has executed M&A, corporate development and restructuring assignments in total value of €2bn

Until recently Branimir served as Principal with Lamda Partners, a UK based private equity firm that invested €100m in South East Europe. As part of his service with Lamda, he served as COO of Alapis, the largest Greek pharmaceutical company. He also served as Vice President of Corporate Development for DAVA Pharmaceuticals, a private equity backed US pharmaceutical company. From 2003 to 2006, he was the Head of Corporate Development and M&A with Pliva, a $2.5bn London and Zagreb listed pharmaceutical company, leading and executing a number of M&A and restructuring transactions in the US and Europe. Prior to joining Pliva, Mr. Bricelj worked with Lazard London advising clients like ENI, Interbrew, BP and MOL. He started his career in investment banking with CA IB in Zagreb, where he participated in some of the landmark M&A deals in the region.

Branimir holds a B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Zagreb and is an IMD and INSEAD Alumnus
